Bio:
I was raised in central Missouri the youngest of seven children. A lot of my musical taste comes from the artists my older sisters and brothers listened to. Lots of Beatles, CCR, Neil Young, Simon and Grarfunkel, Elvis etc. I am a big fan of Bob Dylan and Jackson Browne and love lyrics that make you think. I took up the guitar seriously while in the Navy and played to pass the long hours at sea. I began playing in public when I lived in Idaho Falls and had regular gigs at the Vino Rosso, the Cellar and the Red Lion. I now live in Boise Idaho and write and record under my new name Robert James which I legally changed in 2010.
